FAQ

PC Service and Custom Build FAQ

What kinds of builds are available?

Builds can be tailored for gaming, streaming, video editing, schoolwork, general use, or a mix of different needs.

How do I request service or a quote?

Use the guided request form on the home page or email JJ with the project details. The form works for new builds, upgrades, repairs, and setup requests.

Can I bring parts I already purchased?

Yes. Customer-owned parts assembly includes compatibility review, careful assembly, cable routing, setup, and basic checks.

Will compatibility be checked before a build or upgrade?

Yes. Compatibility review is part of component guidance, the full consultation-and-assembly package, customer-parts assembly, and upgrade planning.

Can JJ install Windows and drivers?

Yes, when setup is included in the service scope and a valid Windows license is available when activation is required.

What checks are performed before handoff?

Depending on the job, checks may include power-on and BIOS review, hardware and storage detection, core driver checks, fan and RGB verification, and basic stability checks.

Do you repair laptops?

Send the laptop model and a description of the issue first so JJ can confirm whether he can help.

What does diagnostic work cost?

Diagnostics start at $50. Final pricing depends on the system, symptoms, required troubleshooting, parts, and work approved by the customer.

How do manufacturer warranties work?

Component warranty coverage follows the respective manufacturer. Review the warranty page for the current terms.
